Close to 48 hours of the “shut down” Here’s the thing…the Tea Partakers have backed themselves into a corner from which there may be no escape. I have been trying to think of some Putinesque event that might give them an out. Short of various state legislatures disenfranchising voters will the Republicans ever elect another president in the foreseeable future?
